Dr. Ramana Sonti
Prof. Ramana is in the faculty of Finance Department at Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad. He has worked extensively on various aspects of Investment Analysis & Applied Portfolio Management over the past decade. His research interests include Corporate Governance, Institutional Investment Behaviour and Financial Product Markets. He was also associated with Tulane University and Kent State University in the past. Professionally he was the Director-Strategic Planning, Lotus Management in the US. He also had a brief stint at IL&FS in India. Prof. Ramana is the author of numerous publications in internationally acclaimed journals in financial markets. Among his publications are “Smart investments by smart money” , “ Evidence from seasoned equity offerings and value creating stock manipulation” and” Feedback effect of stock prices on firm value”. He holds a Ph.D degree in Finance from Michigan State University and a master’s degree from IIM Bangalore in Finance.
At ArthaYantra, Prof. Ramana drives the research team in creating advanced analytical financial models, and advises in building proprietary asset allocation, risk management and portfolio assessment models. Specifically, he helps ArthaYantra’s team to apply the best available analytical models to the real world, relevant to the Indian markets in a practical context.
Hemant is the founder and managing director of Associated Advertising, a leading advertising agency with pan India presence. His vast experiences over the past four decades as a practicing marketing professional, specifically include deep understanding of the Indian consumer behaviour and strategic marketing, which have helped him build several successful brands. Prior to moving into advertising, he also worked in the manufacturing industry. Hemant holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and also a business degree. He is an alumnus of Manipal University.
Hemant helps ArthaYantra in gaining deeper understanding of consumer behaviour and marketing, and closely advises ArthaYantra’s marketing team to distinguish in building the brand and customer acquisition strategy.
