Dr. Vikram Kuriyan is the Clinical Professor of Finance and the Director of the Investment Laboratory at the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad. A PhD. from Harvard University, where he specialized in capital markets in a joint program offered by the departments of economics, engineering sciences and the Harvard Business School, Dr. Kuriyan is also a Chartered Financial Analyst. Prior to ISB, he was the Chairman of the global asset allocation committee and the global head of quantitative strategies at Bank of America’s Asset Management Division. His unit managed over $30 billion of client assets that ranged from retail to the most sophisticated institutional investors, across a multiplicity of strategies including equity, asset allocation and absolute return products. He has also served as the Managing Director of an arbitrage and principal investing fund in Tokyo plus the global head of complex derivatives in the commodities group at Merrill Lynch. He advises the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), is an independent director of TVS Capital Funds and serves on the China-India advisory council of the CFA Institute.
L. Michael Meyer, CFA is an experienced Financial Services Investor and Operator with a Masters in Business Administration from the Darden School at the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Yale University. Mr. Meyer co-founded Route 66 Ventures, a Top 20 Global FinTech Venture Capital firm which made 23 early stage investments across the world. Mr. Meyer is currently working on a number of initiatives in FinTech including a new VC fund, a RegTech Accelerator and a network of Regulatory Sandboxes. He has extensive Board experience having helped companies grow from inception to exit, including sale to public companies. Mr. Meyer also has hands-on operational experience as CEO of large investment and lending businesses in the United States. He currently serves on the Board of two philanthropic organizations and is founding a third imminently.
Dr. Ramana Sonti was a faculty member at Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad, is currently with BITS-Pilani and holds a PhD degree in Finance from Michigan State University plus a master’s degree in finance from IIM Bangalore. Dr. Sonti has worked extensively on various aspects of investment analysis and applied portfolio management over the past decade. His research interests include corporate governance, institutional investment behaviour and financial product markets. He was also associated with the Tulane and Kent State Universities in the past. The author of numerous internationally acclaimed publications in the financial sector, he was the Director - Strategic Planning, Lotus Management in the US and has also had a brief stint at IL&FS in India.
Dr. Vivek Mansingh is a Ph.D. from the Queen’s University, Canada and aStanford University alumnus. Also a Gold Medalist from NIT Allahabad, Dr. Mansingh holds 6 US patents, has published 100s of articles and technical papers and has contributed to two books. Currently the Chairman of AxisCades, India’s leading integrated engineering services company listed on BSE, He is also a Board member at Innovate (A Canadian Knowledge Management Company), Janaagraha (India’s leading Non Profit Organisation and several other startups. Beginning his career as a Senior Scientist with Hewlett Packard in California, he moved to Fujitsu as a Director of Marketing & Sales, based at San Jose. He has held senior technology and leadership roles across top technology organisations in USA for 15 years.

Dr. Dhara is currently the CTO & Chief Scientist at a silicon valley startup and holds a PhD in Computer Science from Iowa State University. He was with Bell Labs, Bell Labs Innovations, and Avaya Labs. Dr. Dhara has a proven track record of innovating deep technological solutions and integrating them into products. His recent work focuses on leveraging data mining, novel collaboration services, and predictive data analytics to deliver profit and growth opportunities, and to influence business strategy. Dr. Dhara is the recipient of the Thomas Alva Edison Patent Award in Information Technology for 2015, an award presented by New Jersey R&D Council for the novelty and for the proven utility of a patent in products. He has 17 US patents and over 10 additional pending patent applications. He has several refereed journal and conference publications, and book chapters.
